Who are the Friends of the Earth? The Friends of the Earth organization is an influential organization that was founded in San Francisco in 1969 by David Brower. The Bluewater group and the Friends of the Earth have also been active in a number of other issues, including water pollution, air pollution, and damage to public lands by so-called thrill vehicles such as jet skis and snowmobiles. The Bluewater Network has arrived like a shot in the arm to the Friends of the Earth organization, enabling the Friends of the Earth to widen its scope considerably
and to work in many more areas.

The Friends of the Earth has achieved widespread success on both a national and international level. The Friends of the Earth have also been very successful on a local level. The Friends of the Earth organization has also allowed individuals to be very successful in their communities by offering them the organizational support to become successful.

What some of the most important achievements do the Friends of the Earth organization achieve? One of the Friends of the Earth organizations most successful achievements was their work toward confirming the nature of genetically engineered corn. The Friends of the Earth organization has also been a big success on a local level. For instance, the Friends of the Earth organization has been active in Indiana, where they have worked with various local groups in order to protest the construction of the I-69 project. The I-69 project in Indiana consists of a 1.8 billion highways that would literally destroy thousands of forests, farms and homes that cut through a traditional Amish community. This is one of the Friends of the Earth latest projects.

The Friends of the Earth organization has proved to be one of the most effective environmental organizations, with numerous achievements under their belt. In the past decades, the Friends of the Earth have helped ban international whaling, halt various water projects and bad dam projects, help reform the way the World Bank works, lobby for greater regulations in oil tankers and strip mining around the world, eliminate corporate tax breaks, and bust corporate polluters, among many other achievements.
