Many communities across the United States have implemented or are in the process of implementing programs to help combat global warming and save the environment. Recycling has become more and more prevalent with new items being added to the list of recyclables all the time. Where it was once newspapers and soda cans, now we recycle computers and cell phones, and new items are constantly being added to the list we can keep from tossing into the landfills.
Just something as simple as collecting magazines and delivering them to medical offices, nursing homes, and hospitals can make a huge difference in communities across the globe. Not only are you helping to save the environment, but you are providing access to entertainment and education that might otherwise end up in the garbage.
